
Produced by DanceHub CIC DaM Fest 2025 ran across March and April 2025 aiming to unite communities, showcase local talent, and inspire creatives and audiences through diverse events and activities—all in a spirit of positivity, inclusivity, and empowerment.
Here is how The Y.E.S Project got Involved:

Forward Motion 2025:
As part of DaM Fest 2025 our Dormans Y.E.S Project performed at Forward Motion 2025 at The Hawth Theatre. 23 young people took the stage and performed in front of over 600 audience members. (add photo of Dormans from FM)

Let’s Dance Crawley f.t the U.Dance South East Regional Platorm 2025:
The Y.E.S Project supported 5 schools to perform at Let’s Dance Crawley 2025 including Manor Green College, Waterfield Primary School, Ifield Community College and more. Our community-based Bewbush Y.E.S Project also performed as a special guest! Three of these performances were supported by a Y.E.S Project Teaching assitiant (a former YES Project participant).

Backstage Opportunities:
Our Y.E.S Leadership Pathway provided our young leaders with the opportunity to help out backstage at both Forward Motion and Let’s Dance Crawley 2025. In addition to this, one of our Next Gen Leaders Co-Hosted both events!

International Dance Day 2025:
As part of DaM Fest 2025, 3 community Y.E.S Project’s performed in DanceHub’s celebration of International Dance Day in Crawley Town Centre. International Dance Day 2025 was also hosted by one of our Next Gen Dance Leaders who has progressed through the Y.E.S Project Leadership Pathway.

DaM Fest TikTok Challenge 2025:
Young people from The Y.E.S Project worked with Ju5 Bones to help create a unique DaM Fest 2025 track which was used in the DaM Fest 2025 TikTok Challenge. The track “yes” is now also available on all streaming sites.

Neighbourhood Spotlights:
- The Y.E.S Project made it their mission to visist key landmarks in Crawley’s 14 neighbourhoods and spotlight these by filming the DaM Fest 2025 TikTok Challenge at each location. This journey through Crawley was supported by Community Transport Sussex. Y.E.S young leaders also supported DanceHub to visit Dance Schools in each of Crawley’s 14 neighbourhood’s.
